KANAM PROJECT: FACTS AT A GLANCE. Writen By Sunday Amos Gwanto.

Kanam the home of my ancestry and history has not only watched the political narrative of the state being changed over time but most importantly has participated in making concerted efforts in arriving at the kind of change envasieged by all and sundry.  For example several political dispensations and Governments have emerged at different times in the history of kanam Local Government but interestingly there has never been any dispensation where Kanam sons and daughters have not been instrumental in either its emergence or success both at the National and State levels. To set the records straight is to say that since from 1999 to date, Kanam has been key in bringing all Governments on board including Plateau Central senatorial seat and PKK HOR seat despite the intrigues of both intra-party and inter-party maneuverings.  Incidentally, the realities on ground are yet to suggest that kanam has gotten its fare share  commensurate to its political efforts to both t...

GAGDI SILENCES CRITICS AGAIN, SECURES 300 SOLAR STREET LIGHTS FOR PKK.

Image
As debate rages on regarding the propriety of Gagdi's second term ambition as the member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, with some critics berating his leadership style, claiming the lawmaker has concentrated on human development; providing jobs and human empowerment to constituents, at the detriment of the infrastructural development of the constituency, the quintessential lawmaker seems not to be resting on his oars to strike a balance between robust legislative inputs in the enactment of laws for the peace and good government of the entire nation, through sponsorship of bills and motions that have great impact on the lives of all Nigerians; human development of his constituents through empowerment programs and securing job opportunities in federal ministries, Departments and Agencies, as well as embarking on developmental projects in his constituency; thus allowing his work to speak for him.  The dogged and rele...

Image
APPEAL TO PKK YOUTHS WRITTEN BY COMRADE JEFF SHIPI. I write with deep pain in my heart, with the manner at which we are playing politics on the Plateau. It is exactly one year and some months this present Government came on board ,and we are already hitting the polity. Can we please stop distracting our leaders ? So they can concentrate on governance.I expect us  now to start evaluating them and bringing out their score cards as electorates but to my greatest dismay we are here saying; Rt.Hon.Yusuf Adamu Gagdi 2023  Hon.Saleh yipmong 2023 Hon.Philip Dasun 2023 Hon : Philip Wallok 2023 Except for Hon.Henry Longs and Isma'il Hudu Bala (Bala Noma) I have not heard or seen on social media about any aspiration come 2023. My appeal is that,we should allow the sitting leaders to concentrate on delivering their mandate . Instead of working on the mandate they have been given ,they are busy looking for campaigners. The money that is meant for the people who have worked for t...
