GAGDI CONGRATULATES SENATOR-ELECT NORA DADUUT, PRAYS FOR HER SUCCESS IN THE SENATE 

The member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency, Rt Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, has extended his warmest felicitations and the goodwill of his constituents to the Senator-elect at the December 5, senatorial by-election in Southern Plateau, Dame Nora Daduut on her well deserved victory at the polls, and looks forward with optimism, to work with her at the National Assembly for the betterment of Plateau State and Nigeria as a whole.

The lawmaker describes Nora's victory as a milestone in the quest to advance women participation in leadership roles, while congratulating her for being the first woman in the northcentral Nigeria to be elected to the red chamber.

Hon. Gagdi was thankful to the governor of Plateau State, His Excellency Simon Lalong for providing the enabling environment for women to thrive in the political firmament of Plateau state, and appreciated the people of the southern zone for setting the pace as the first zone to produce a woman senator in Plateau State.

He indulges the Senator-elect to reciprocate the goodwill of the people of Plateau south and all those who contributed in making her electoral victory possible. This, he said, can be achieved by living above board and representing her people with the commitment and enthusiasm she is known for in handling responsibilities bestowed on her in her capacity as a mother and university don who attained the cresendo of her career by dint of hard work.
